| The Meteor was allocating a serial number, 8484M, but it returned to flying status in 1976. The aircraft was operated as part of the 'Vintage Pair' with a Vampire XH304. The aircraft crashed in Coventry on 30/05/88 while participating in the annual Warwickshire Air Pageant with the sad loss of life of pilot Flight Lieutenant Peter Stacey. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
