Manufactured in Moscow Aviant plan #30 in January 1964, delivered MALÉV – Hungarian Airlines March 28 with blue propeller-cone. Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) April 1. First passenger flight April 2 to Moscow with CPT Istvan Schwanner. January 9 1967 major modification with Ivchenko's AI-20K engines. November 3 1978 last passenger service on Budapest–Sofia–Budapest flight. Converted to Cargo. May 25 1979 first flight as cargo plane to Tehran via Maribor, (then) Yugoslavia. Last ever flight October 13 1988 from Budapest to Constanta and return. WFU December 6 1988 with 36.558 accumulated flight hours. The Educational Center of MALEV received, she was stored on the grass between the technical apron and the stands of the L-410 fleet. The leadership of the Air Traffic & Airport Administration (LRI) decided to scrap due to the lack of area to store any more, but thanks to the spotters' signature collecting action, and thanks to the flexibility of LRI, she was finally towed to the open air museum of the Airport November 2006 in her last livery.
