Rolled out from Moscow Aviant plan #30 on February 22 1960, delivered MALÉV – Hungarian Air Transport April 1, as the very first IL-18 of the national airlines of Hungary as HA-MOA, with white propeller-cone. Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) May 2. First passenger flight May 25 to Moscow with CPT Istvan Kapitany. January 1964 type TG-16 APU installed, March 1968 another major modification with Ivchenko's AI-20K engines October 1968, on the second overhaul passenger capacity was increased from 89 seats to 105 seats. March 1975 cockpit was modified from five crew to four. October 1 1977 last passenger service on Budapest–Prague–Budapest flight. Then converted to Cargo. January 30 1978 first flight as cargo plane. Sixth and last overhaul May 1983. Last take-off (farewell flight) with invited guests on board February 19 1987. WFU February 22 with 37.197 accumulated flight hours and 17.285 landings. In September 1991 re-applied her original livery and parked in front of the technical apron. Temporarily CAAC livery with water-based paint and B-220 marking in spring 1995 for a movie.
